Plazza Raises $1.4M Seed

Plazza Raises $1.4M Seed to Scale Omnichannel Medicine Delivery in Bengaluru

Bengaluru’s Plazza, a quick medicine delivery startup launched in late 2024, has closed a $1.4 million seed round led by All In Capital with support from Better Capital, Abhishek Goyal, Vivekananda Hallekere, and others. The company aims to disrupt traditional pharmacy models by offering around 20,000 SKUs (versus typical 4,000–5,000) online and in physical stores. So far, Plazza has served 10,000 customers and is growing at 25% per week. With this funding, it plans to open more storefronts across Bengaluru (targeting 20 in the next year), expand category offerings (like health snacks, mother-and-baby care, dermatology), and bolster logistics, last-mile delivery, and tech infrastructure. For startup founders and investors, Plazza’s model shows how blending omnichannel presence with deeper product breadth can be a playbook in health & pharmacy delivery.

Bengaluru-based healthtech startup Plazza is looking to reinvent how consumers access medicines. In its seed round, Plazza raised $1.4 million, led by All In Capital, with participation from Better Capital, Tracxn cofounder Abhishek Goyal, Bounce’s Vivekananda Hallekere, the Singhania family office, and JK Tyre promoters.

Launched in November 2024 by Aman Priyadarshi (ex-Zomato) and Aniruddha Sen (formerly with Kenko Health), Plazza positions itself as a challenger to traditional pharmacies. Unlike standard pharmacies that stock 4,000–5,000 SKUs, Plazza offers up to 20,000 SKUs through its hybrid model—both physical storefronts and an online delivery channel.

The startup began operations with its flagship outlet in Yemalur, Bengaluru. Over the coming year, it aims to open 20 outlets in the city. It has so far served around 10,000 customers and reports a weekly growth rate of about 25%.

With the fresh funding, Plazza plans to:

  • Grow its store footprint in Bengaluru
  • Broaden its product categories (e.g. healthy snacks, mother & baby care, elder care, dermatology)
  • Strengthen supply chain and logistics
  • Improve last-mile delivery and upgrade its tech stack to ensure speed and reliability in health delivery services.

By combining deep product variety with physical presence and robust delivery infrastructure, Plazza is taking a hybrid approach to compete in India’s fragmented pharmacy & health-ecommerce sector.
